The Office of Government Procurement, acting on behalf of the Minister for Public Expenditure, Infrastructure, Public Service Reform and Digitalisation, is establishing a Multi Supplier Framework Agreement for the provision of Microsoft Solution Renewals and Associated Services.
The framework carries an estimated value of €1bn and covers software-related services spanning Microsoft licensing, consultancy, implementation and associated delivery. It operates as a multi-supplier model, meaning multiple economic operators can be appointed to provide services under agreed terms.
Under this procurement vehicle, government bodies will be able to call off Microsoft services and renewals from the appointed suppliers without running separate competitive tenders each time. The framework structure allows for flexibility in sourcing while maintaining central oversight of Microsoft-related expenditure.
Economic operators seeking appointment should note that this is a framework agreement rather than a direct contract award, meaning successful bidders will be positioned to respond to specific call-offs from public bodies as requirements arise.
