The deal includes an optional one-year extension. The contract was procured through further competition on a geospatial services framework.
HM Land Registry has appointed CGI IT UK Limited to lead its data transformation agenda, securing expert oversight across geospatial strategy, advanced capabilities, architecture and data governance.
The £14.1m contract runs for four years from award, with HM Land Registry retaining the option to extend for a further year. The strategic partnership will span seven workstreams: geospatial strategy and vision; advanced geospatial capabilities; innovation and experimentation; architecture and standards; data governance and collaboration; capability building and literacy; and data integration and interoperability.
The award came through further competition on the RM6235 Spaced Enabled Geospatial Services framework, a dynamic purchasing system that allows contracting authorities to select suppliers from a pre-qualified panel. Suppliers already on that framework remain eligible for future call-offs under the same terms.
