The Department of Transport is seeking suppliers for body worn cameras alongside a digital evidence management system and associated services for An Garda Síochána, with an estimated value of €150m.

The competition is being conducted under the European Union (Award of Public Authority Contracts) Regulations 2016 and will proceed through a competitive procedure with negotiation. Tenderers must pass a pre-qualification questionnaire stage before progressing. The procurement structure requires a minimum of two stages, with detailed requirements set out in the tender documents.

This is the opening of the first stage: the pre-qualification phase. Organisations meeting the criteria set by the Department of Transport can then move forward to submit full tenders in subsequent rounds.
