Metropolitan Police Service has awarded a £500m contract for Next Generation Uniform Provision to DHL Supply Chain Limited. The contract covers supply, storage, stock management, ordering, fulfilment, product design, distribution and customer support, underpinned by a digital ordering platform. An amendment notice extended the award standstill to 3 July 2026, now passed.
Metropolitan Police Service has awarded DHL Supply Chain Limited a £500m contract to deliver a fully managed uniform service across the force.
The contract, titled Next Generation Uniform Provision, extends beyond simple supply to encompass storage, stock management, ordering, fulfilment, product design, distribution and customer support. All services will be supported by a digital ordering and management platform.
The notice published on 24 June 2026 is an amendment to the original award announcement, issued to extend the standstill period to 3 July 2026; that extended standstill has since ended. The original notice cannot be edited to reflect the change, the buyer confirmed.
