Framework Agreement under Provider Selection Regime
Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust has opened a framework agreement for mental health and wellbeing services to new provider applications, marking the start of a rolling procurement model under the Provider Selection Regime.
The framework is designed to source a range of mental health and wellbeing services for young people, adults or both, delivered either virtually or in person. It operates under The Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023 and The Health Services (Provider Selection Regime) (Wales) Regulations 2025.
Unlike traditional framework procurements, this model allows new providers to apply at any point during the agreement's term. Existing appointed providers face no obligation to reapply. As new providers are appointed, further intention to award notices will be published.
The framework is managed by Simon Corbett at the trust's Chester base. The intention to award notice was published on 6 July 2026.
