Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is setting up a framework agreement to supply falls prevention and detection products across the NHS and other public bodies. The framework, worth an estimated £19.5m, will operate as a multi-supplier arrangement, allowing participating authorities to buy goods and services through a single procurement vehicle rather than running individual tenders.
Commercial Procurement Services is managing the framework on behalf of the trust. The structure gives public bodies the assurance that all suppliers have met rigorous criteria before appointment. Participating authorities will be able to call off from the framework in a legally compliant manner without running their own full competitive process each time.
The framework is now closed to new bids, with the deadline having passed on 29 July 2026. Organisations already appointed to the framework can now expect to receive call-off orders from NHS trusts and other public bodies needing falls prevention equipment and support.
