Associated British Ports has opened a multi-supplier professional services framework valued at £75m to support capital projects, regional investment and property activities. The framework spans nine lots covering project management, engineering, architecture, planning and environmental advisory services, with both national and regional delivery models to encourage SME participation alongside larger providers.
Associated British Ports is establishing a broad-based framework to handle the professional services underpinning its capital ambitions. The framework, valued at £75m, will serve as an open arrangement with scope to re-open periodically and introduce additional suppliers as work demands.
The nine lots cover project and programme management services, design and engineering services, architectural services, planning and consent support, property and asset-related consultancy, and environmental advisory services. Four lots are split between national and regional delivery: Project Support Services (National and Regional), and Design & Engineering (National and Regional). The remaining five lots cover Architecture, Strategic Planning Services, Local Planning Services, Property Services, and Environmental Advisory Services.
The regional elements are designed to support local supplier participation and SME engagement, whilst maintaining access to larger national providers capable of handling major capital projects and complex work. The framework structure allows for alignment of supplier capability with project scale, complexity, and geographic requirements across Associated British Ports' operations.
