NORTHERN IRELAND WATER LIMITED wants one contractor to keep the electrical and control systems across its network running, putting a £54m ceiling on a tender that covers repair, installation and maintenance work on "the full range of manufacturer's equipment currently within NI Water's asset base."
The notice, reference T141, splits the work into two lots of equal size. Lot one covers "EICA Installation, Repair and Maintenance Service for the North West area of Northern Ireland" and lot two covers "EICA Installation, Repair and Maintenance Service for the South East area of Northern Ireland," each estimated at £27m.
According to the notice, the contractor will be responsible for providing "the necessary skilled and unskilled labour together with the materials to carry out the work in accordance with the Specification, statutory regulations and to the satisfaction of NI Water."
The tender was published on 26 June 2026 and closed to bids at 11:00 on 15 July 2026. No supplier has yet been named against either lot.
Bidders could compete for either or both regional lots; an award notice will confirm the successful contractor in due course.
