The Ministry of Justice has awarded a £5m contract to Ernst & Young LLP to deliver support for the Our Future Probation Service programme. EY will provide project and programme management, service design, planning and change management to accelerate delivery of the Government's response to the Independent Sentencing Review.
Ernst & Young LLP has won a £5m contract to support the Ministry of Justice's Our Future Probation Service (OFPS) programme, a major rebalancing of demand and capacity across probation services.
The award, published on 11 June 2026, follows the Government's response to the Independent Sentencing Review. OFPS is central to the MoJ Justice Delivery Plan and aims to place probation services on a sustainable footing while protecting the public and reducing reoffending.
EY's role is targeted delivery support rather than strategy setting. The consultancy will handle project and programme management, service design facilitation, planning, coordination, analysis, change management, communications and assurance across the programme.
The contract was awarded following a deadline of 26 March 2026.
