Strategic Partnership Agreement
London Borough of Lewisham has appointed Hill Partnerships Limited as its strategic development partner in a £1.85bn deal spanning up to fifteen years.
The Strategic Partnership Agreement will run for an initial period of up to ten years with an option to extend for a further five years. Any sites commencing within this timeframe may complete beyond the partnership's nominal fifteen-year life.
Hill Partnerships will work collaboratively with the authority to develop a pipeline of sites and associated business plans, drawing on what the council describes as "skills, expertise and track record" needed to deliver exceptional sites as detailed in the council's objectives, vision statement and development fact sheets.
The partnership structure allows sites that commence during the initial decade to run to completion even if they extend past the fifteen-year partnership period.
