Single Strategic Channel Partner Contract (Value-Added Reseller)
The Home Office has handed Specialist Computer Centres PLC a £60m single-supplier contract to oversee a multi-year infrastructure refresh programme.
The deal, formally titled N&I Hardware VAR, Licencing, Support and Maintenance of Hardware Asset, appoints the firm as a value-added reseller to manage all hardware upgrades, licensing and support needed across the department's estate over the next five years. In procurement terms, a Single Strategic Channel Partner arrangement means the buyer commits to routing all qualifying work through one named supplier rather than running separate tenders for each phase.
Specialist Computer Centres will handle the full cycle: hardware procurement, software licensing, ongoing support and asset maintenance. The contract closed to new bidders on 21 June 2026 and was formally awarded the same day.
