Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust has awarded a £67.8m contract to John Sisk & Son (Holdings) Limited for the design, construction and handover of a new Children's Cancer Services Principal Treatment Centre at the hospital in London.

The work was procured under the RM6267 Construction Works and Associated Services 2/Procure23 framework, which enables NHS trusts and other public bodies to call off major construction projects from pre-qualified suppliers without running a separate open tender.

Framework appointments allow buyers to select from contractors already vetted during the framework competition. Once a supplier is selected, it can be engaged directly for specific work without further bidding rounds, though other framework members may bid for individual call-offs depending on the framework terms.
