Electricity Supply Board has awarded a contract for maintenance of ecars electric vehicle charging infrastructure across the Republic of Ireland, estimated at €10m. The contract covers preventative and corrective maintenance of charging equipment, interface pillars, cabling, earthing, protective barriers, signage and MV substations nationwide.
Electricity Supply Board has moved to secure long-term maintenance cover for its ecars EV charging network across the Republic of Ireland, with a contract estimated at €10m.
The scope covers both preventative and corrective maintenance of all ecars charging equipment, plus associated infrastructure: interface pillars and their components, cabling between equipment, earthing systems, protective barriers, signage and posts, ground markings where required, and MV substations.
The successful tenderer must source, manage and store all materials, including full replacement units held in stock. The contractor is responsible for ensuring staff competence on specific equipment, securing all necessary manufacturer training, holding DC and AC test kits, maintaining electric vehicles with CCS connection for load testing, and carrying spares to address issues on site.
