Bristol City Council has awarded the Supported Temporary Accommodation Framework (STAF) to Dawson Housing Limited, valued at £26.7m. The framework forms part of the Tackling Homelessness Transformation Programme and consists of three lots.

The council seeks to expand the supply of supported temporary accommodation delivered by partner Registered Providers. This approach allows the authority to reduce its reliance on non-supported privately owned emergency accommodation while continuing to meet the city's pressing demand for interim housing.

A framework agreement allows the council to call off services from the appointed supplier over time, rather than committing the full contract value upfront. Future accommodation placements will be made as demand arises, with the framework providing a structured mechanism to manage supply.

Suppliers and registered providers engaged in supported housing provision across the region can monitor future call-offs under this framework, which runs from the award date of 11 June 2026.
