Anglian Water Services Limited is seeking a strategic planning and consents adviser under a framework agreement worth an estimated £49m to shepherd its major infrastructure schemes through the planning system.
The work spans the full consenting pathway: development consent order strategy and documentation, pre-application and examination management, environmental impact assessment, traffic and transport planning case development, coastal and marine permitting, and discharge of requirements post-consent. The adviser will lead consenting teams across multiple disciplines and manage stakeholder and statutory consultation.
A framework agreement lets the buyercall off services over time without running a full tender each time. Interested suppliers can bid now; the framework covers "current and future major infrastructure programmes" for the water company.
Consenting and planning counsel targeting utilities and major infrastructure projects should review the full scope on https://www.find-tender.service.gov.uk/Notice/073419-2026. The tender is open and bidders should check the published documents for deadlines and submission routes.
